After installing windows 8 on a ASUS X53E laptop there is one missing driver. This is PCI simple communications controller and the correct driver is Intel(r) management engine interface which you can update in device manager. Instructions below. For windows 7 there are 2 missing drivers. These are Ethernet controller and Universal serial bus (USB) controller. The correct drivers are Lan atheros AR8151 and Ashmedia ASM104X USB 3.0 host controller driver. Click the links to download.
