If you are installing windows 10 or 8, 32 or 64 bit on an ASUS X54C laptop you will have 1 driver that will be missing in device manager. This driver is PCI Simple communications controller and the correct driver is Intel engine management interface. Click here to download it. For windows 7 there are several missing drivers. The PCI Simple communications controller is the same as above. The others are Ethernet controller, SMBUS Controller, USB controller. The correct drivers and download are - LAN, Intel chipset and USB.
