After installing windows 7, 8 or 10 on a dell inspiron 1564 laptop there is 1 missing driver which is the same for all operating systems and 1 extra driver for windows 7. The missing driver for all editions of windows is PCI Simple communications controller the correct driver is Intel Engine Management Interface. You can download it here.. For windows 7 there is a Network controller missing. The corect driver is Dell Wireless LAN. Download it here.
