After installing windows 7, 8 and 10 on a dell latitude e6440 laptop there are 4 drivers required for all 3 operating systems, these are PCI Simple communications controller, PCI serial port, SMbus controller and unknown device. The correct drivers are Intel engine management interface (twice), Intel chipset and Dell control vault. Click each one to download. For 7 you need an SMbus controller which uses this chipset driver. Also Ethernet controller , Network controller and Universal serial bus (USB) controller are missing. The correct drivers are Intel ethernet 10/100/1000, Intel(R) Centrino(R) advanced-N 6235, USB. click each one to download. On windows 8 there is also a missing bluetooth driver. This is here.
