After downloading drivers from the HP website the file will look like a program but in many cases all it is is an exstractable folder.

Double click the HP download and the files will be extracted to your pc, usually in the SWSETUP folder of C: drive.

When the HP download finishes sometimes it will automatically install the correct drivers however in many cases you will have to do this yourself.

If the device is not installed find the SWSETUP folder and click on install or another .exe program

You can also do this in device manager, right click, select update driver, choose browse my computer and choose the folder located in the C://SWSETUP. HP folders are usually numbered so select the correct numbered folder if you have many downlaods.
